Critical Thinking: talk at Heidelberg Uni (Wed July 3, 2019)

Doctoral student at Heidelberg uni?
Want to feed on more than just physical stuff for your lunch on Wednesday?
Come to my talk on critical thinking then!

Science and academe make progress through questioning of ideas and opinions, standards and methods. So how handle what is currently established yet be critical of just that; how strengthen oneself and others to deal with conflicting expectations?

This is part of the “Primers for PreDocs” series with Heidelberg uni’s graduate academy. I promise my talk won’t be a boring lecture but fun – and really something to chew on. Plus there will be a reception afterwards, with snacks as well as the opportunity to talk some more, both with neuroscientist PD Dr. Angela Heinrich (presentation at 11 a. m.) and with me.

12 a. m., Heidelberg Center for American Studies,
Hauptstr. 120, room “Stucco”

No cost except for your time, but please register to allow for easier planning. Yet most importantly: come join us on Wednesday!
